Here are some pics that I finally got developed at Richard Photo Lab BTW...

They are of my son just playing around.

Check this out too:

Here is a digital and film image taken about a minute apart from one another... Amazing the difference huh?

Digital on left and film is on the right

I personally am really digging all aspects of film on so many levels.

BTW, these were all shot on Kodak 400VC (35mm) film with my Nikon F100. I only used the 50mm f/1.4G and 70-200mm f/2.8 VR Nikkor Lenses. No flash, ambient light only.

So cute! Yeah, the difference between film and digital is amazing. Just the push I need to get out and experiment more!

LOVE these! I love the side by side comparison as well because one of the amazing things about film is that it doesn't blow out the highlights. Richards does an amazing job too. How are you thinking of incorporating film more into your business? I'm stoked on this! xoxo

Thanks! Yeah I am really loving film. The price was a little astronomical from Richard's and that kept me from doing it more. I think it was like $250 to develop and scan 4 or 6 rolls of film. A couple rolls were more money because of them being from a Holga. Watch out or that since they charge more for film that comes out of "toy" cameras. I love the fact that I didn't have to do any post-processing on my end. I told Richard's that I just wanted them to adjust for neutral skin tones and they did just that. All I had to do was wait and then just upload the pics and show them off.

Thanks! Yeah I plan on doing something called Nostalgia Sessions and will be charging more obviously to do them. It will be a niche thing that is out there if people are interested. Otherwise, it will just be digital 24-7. Slowly but surely.
