I just finished "Within the Frame: The Journey of Photographic Vision" by David duChemin and really enjoyed it! As opposed to the technical side of photography, about which there are many great books (and many horrible ones), this book is more about the ethereal side of capturing powerful, meaningful images. I really enjoyed it. It will influence how I shoot. In the next year or so, I promised myself that I would read it again as as a refresher.
